Product Review: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil

Want an eyeliner that literally glides onto your eyelid and stays all day? Well then, this is the product choice for you.

A few weeks back, Sephora was giving out samples of the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil to its customers who are members of their rewards program. Being one of the many as well as making a purchase at the right time, I was able to get my hands on this baby!

I must admit, I was a little skeptical at first to use this eyeliner because a friend of mine told me she didn’t like this product because it smudged too easily. I was going to listen to her because not only is she practically a beauty expert but she interns for Beauty High

Going against her opinion, I decided to try the eyeliner. I did and was amazed by how well it works. Sorry, girl, but I love this stuff! I hardly had to apply any pressure to the pencil unlike most liners which shocked me. The makeup goes on very smoothly, is dark and matte and stays on for most of the day (but this may also be because I use the Urban Decay Primer Potion).

However, this eyeliner can smudge, so my friend was right about that. I was wearing it one day and noticed that it did crease a little bit, even though I had put primer potion in the crease of my eyelid. Be careful that this doesn’t happen since most eyeliners in general do that.

Overall, I’d shell out $19.00 for this once I run out. I actually like it better than the MAC pencils I’ve used in the past. This one also sharpens pretty well which is a huge plus.

The Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil can be found at Sephora.com and other retailers who sell Urban Decay products.

Product Review: MAC Jumbo Penultimate Eye Liner

It’s hard to tell from the picture, but this is MAC’s jumbo liquid liner marker. Yes, marker, not pen.

Basically, this product is like a Sharpie for your eyes. It lines super easy, fast and stays on all day. I liked this better than the smaller liquid liners because it’s easier to handle and I prefer the marker-like tip as opposed to a brush or smaller felt tip.

This product is somewhat limited edition, since it first came out last year when MAC released their Wonder Woman collection. However, the girl at Saks told me because it did so well, they keep relaunching it at certain times.

The liner goes for $19.50 at maccosmetics.com but can be found at most MAC retailers and where MAC Cosmetics are sold.
